When: Our regular classes for children are 1 hour long and they run for 8 weeks during school terms. Generally are held on week days (Wednesdays) but Saturday classes can be arranged as well in case of a group request (min 5 children)

Photography ​online after-school club 

Children learn how to get creative with the photographic language through playful activities and games. They learn basic photography techniques (portraits, rule of thirds, composition) and how to use a photo camera, but they also explore how to tell a story, how to look at the world differently, the illusion of images (perspective photography), some interesting facts about the history of photography and in general how to use the visual language to express their own ideas.
Extra needs: a device for taking pictures. 

Animation ​online after-school club 

In our animation workshop, children dive into the magic of the animation. They learn how to animate objects with the stop-motion technique (a sequence of pictures of a moving subject), they are invited to create their own characters (using various materials such as Lego, Play-doh, daily objects, colorful paper or their own bodies) and they are shown how to make their own stories using this fascinating language.
Extra needs: a device for taking pictures, materials to animate (they will be explained before the start of the classes).

Candy Film offers regularly after-school clubs in London schools. Our clubs offer young people the opportunity to learn visual skills and participate in creative activities working in a fun and safe environment.

From March 2020 we started offering online clubs for schools students, for children who are home-schooling or just prefer a virtual participation from the comfort of their home.

Our method
All our clubs are held live (depending on the course, additional activities are planned). Our teaching method is based on interactive demonstrations and playful activities that help participants learn while having fun. We tailor our sessions to the participants' age.

What you need
You will need a reliable internet connection, suitable for streaming video and online video calls. Extra needs are explained in the individual courses. Please find the details below.
