If your children like to sing, dance and perform in front of the camera with their friends, this party is the perfect choice!

​In this type of party the birthday children get the chance to make a music video with their friends based on their favorite song. We help children organise and set up the scenes, where they sing, dance or act out various fun scenarios. Children can also act as crew members. We can create different backgrounds for the scenes with the use of a green screen.​

At the end of the shoot we screen the preview footage for the kids and their parents.

Our Movie Making Party give creative children who love acting and telling stories the opportunity to make a short movie with their friends. Parties begin with games and a demonstration of filmmaking basics. We then guide the kids in the filmmaking process, where they will take on various roles as actors, camera operators, directors and first assistant directors.

At the end of the party, we screen the rushes for the kids and their parents. Stories can be tailored around your children’s ideas, explore genres such as fantasy, adventure or mystery, or they can be inspired by their favorite fairy tales, books or movies (i.e. Harry Potter). We can use special effects (including a green screen) to make the movies more fun and effective.

HOLLYWOOD PARTY

Length: 3 hours

During the Hollywood Party children create a short movie based on the birthday child's idea. They learn how to operate filmmaking equipment, use the clapper boards, direct actors and perform in front of the camera.

Once the shooting is finished, children are celebrated as real VIPs at a celebration in Hollywood, walking on the red carpet, getting interviewed about their role in the movie or recording birthday messages, before watching the best takes on the screen. 

The final video also includes the Hollywood celebrations and the "bloopers" (the funniest moments captured behind the scenes during the shooting).

MOVIE PRODUCTION PARTY (full day)

In this full-day party, children produce their own movie from the concept to the film set.

In the development phase they learn how to brainstorm and pitch their own ideas, use storyboards to plan the shooting, build characters, write lines, choose the best types of shots to capture the scenes, and create a visual style based on a specific genre.
During the shooting, children act and fill the main filmmaking roles.

After the shooting, children celebrate in Hollywood style: they walk on the red carpet and get interviewed about the experience while receiving an Oscar. 

The screening of a first draft of the movie (edited on site by our filmmakers) will conclude the celebration for the children and their parents.

A video memory that lasts forever

​At the end of the party, we organize a screening of the unedited footage together with the kids and their parents. The family receives a copy of the final movie (downloadable link) ​within two weeks after the party. DVDs are available on request for an extra fee. The final movie will make this experience memorable in the years!

​​How the party works

​​We run the party at your house or a chosen venue (we can help you find one in your area, if you need) and we provide all the equipment including cameras, tripods, clapper boards and a green screen for special effects shots. Depending on the number of children, two or more party facilitators will be running your party. ​

Mix of learning and fun

Our parties are lead in an interactive and playful way, including games and a demonstration of movie making basics. We then guide children in the shooting process, always overseeing them at all times to ensure a great final result. Children develop teamwork as they work as a group to create the final product. They also learn how to direct and receive directions, they practice problem-solving and express their creativity.
